## What is Pointy Puzzle?

Pointy Puzzle is a free browser-based logic game. Each puzzle presents a grid filled with arrows pointing in one of eight directions. An arrow can only be cleared (tapped) when nothing blocks its path to the edge of the grid. The player's goal is to figure out the correct order to clear every arrow from the board.

The game requires no downloads or signups — it runs entirely in the browser on any device (phone, tablet, or desktop).

## Game Modes

- **Daily Puzzle** — A new puzzle every day at midnight. Players can track streaks and personal best times.
- **Classic Mode** — 50 hand-tuned levels across four stages of increasing difficulty (Foundations, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert).
- **Red Arrow Mode** — 15 levels where the goal is to free a specific red arrow, not clear the entire board.
- **Challenge Mode** — Enter any numeric seed to generate a specific puzzle. Choose grid size (5x5, 10x10, or 15x15), set hearts to default/unlimited/custom, and add an optional countdown timer. Share seeds with friends to race the same puzzle.

## How It Works

Each cell in the grid contains an arrow pointing in one of eight directions (up, down, left, right, and four diagonals). An arrow is "unblocked" when no other arrow sits between it and the edge of the board along its direction. Tapping an unblocked arrow clears it, which may unblock other arrows. Tapping a blocked arrow costs a heart. Lose all hearts and you restart.
